We're aiming for 100,000 meals
Our goal for FY26–27 is to help provide 100,000 meals through our charity partner, SecondBite.
It's an ambitious number for a very small company, but every book, doll and Wonder Pouch gets us a little closer.

Why we give meals
G'day, we're Candy and Nico, two designers from regional Victoria. Having both grown up through financial hardship, we know firsthand how quickly life can become difficult when there isn't enough money to pay the bills or put food in the fridge.
Growing up in the late '80s and early '90s, Candy's family relied on social housing in Hong Kong, while charities were a constant presence throughout Nico's childhood in Sydney. They provided food and clothing, helped his family pay essential bills, and were there when things became especially difficult, providing emergency accommodation and rental assistance during periods when his family was homeless and sleeping in a tent.
We have never forgotten what that kindness meant to us. It's why giving back has been part of Roobee Roo from the very beginning.
A chance to give back
Creating Roobee Roo gave us something we’d long dreamed about.
Not only the chance to cherish the magic of childhood with beautiful books, dolls and educational products that we made, but also the chance to help others too.
With every purchase, we donate funds to our first charity partner, SecondBite, to provide meals for Australians in need.
Together, we’re helping make sure more Australians have food on the table.
The big dream
Our business is still very small, but we have always believed that if it is lucky enough to grow, the good it does should grow too.
